While Gemelli is one of the most famous James Street restaurants, it isn’t a standalone for the Italian brothers Paul, James and Alec. In addition to our Italian restaurant in Fortitude Valley we our Broadbeach restaurant, also called Gemelli. We are proud to introduce our addition to the great Nobby Beach restaurants, Gemellini, as well as Roy’s Restaurant in Sorrento. Our first bar, Bar Tano, is right next door to our James Street restaurant. You know you’re going to have the best Italian food Brisbane-wide when you see the Gemelli name.

Bar Tano pairs snacks and drinks with the joys of people watching. The sibling venue next door to our Italian restaurant in Fortitude Valley, this bar is designed to feel like an aperitivo spot; like you’ve sat down in an Italian piazza in high summer. The décor is inspired by the aperitivo’s birthplace, Milano and is ideal for a date night, or something a little more special like an engagement. You can even hire the full venue for luxe private events.
Family Dinner: Roy’s by Gemelli
With an altered menu from Gemelli Broadbeach to match our Italo-Australian roots, Roy’s in Sorrento is all about creating a homey and casual atmosphere. BYO every night means you can bring that bottle of wine you’ve been saving, and the friendly service will make you feel right at home. Roy’s is all about our locals, emphasising a fun, family dining experience.
